Title: 5B. Recommendation to approve a two year Interlocal Contract between Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and the State of Nevada acting by and through the Nevada Division of Forestry Department of Conservation and Natural Resources in the amount of $125,214.75 per fiscal year, not to exceed $250,429.50 for the purpose of resources, equipment and financial assistance in the mitigation of emergency fire incidents. If approved the agreement would be effective July 1, 2019 and would require the District to pay the state in exchange for the provisions of specified emergency fire incident services by the state. Services to be provided by the state generally include but are not limited to: assist in the use of an incident management team, cooperate in the training, equipping and maintaining firefighting forces, reimbursement of approved costs and assist with fire investigation.
