Title: Recommendation to approve a Professional Services Agreement between Washoe County and Nichols Consulting Engineers, Chtd. for the Swan Lake - Horse Creek Restoration project [in the amount of $311,910.00], effective October 14, 2026, through July 15, 2028. The scope of work includes a feasibility study with two conceptual design alternatives for Horse Creek restoration and flood mitigation, 30% design plans for the selected alternative, geotechnical investigation, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, resource inventories and technical reports (cultural, aquatic, and biological), and an engineer’s opinion of probable cost. The scope also includes construction documents and construction support for a raised boardwalk connecting the parking lot to the outdoor classroom. The project is located at the Swan Lake Nature Study Area, 0 Lear Blvd, Reno, Nevada. Community Services. (Commission District 5.) FOR POSSIBLE ACTION
