Recommendation to accept Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development: Sidehill Pedestrian Safety Project, in the amount of [$495,250, no match required] retroactive from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2026 to remove and replace the existing asphalt curb with a concrete curb and gutter and a 5-foot-wide sidewalk; removal and replacement of two existing drainage inlets with Type 4-R catch basins to ensure the current drainage of the site is not negatively impacted by the installation of the new sidewalk; and raising of existing sanitary sewer manholes with installation of concrete collars through coordination with the utility provider; and if approved, authorize County Manager to retroactively execute grant documents in the amount of $495,250, and direct Finance to make the appropriate budget amendments.
