Recommendation to accept the FY 2024 Joining Forces award amendment from the State of Nevada Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety in an amount not to exceed $10,855 [in-kind county match not to exceed $2,714 or 25%| to cover overtime costs related to conducting traffic enforcement checkpoint events and limited travel expenses, for the retroactive grant term of October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024 and if approved, direct Comptroller’s Office to make the necessary budget amendments; and authorize Sheriff Balaam to execute grant award documents.
