Title
Recommendation pursuant to NRS 244.146 and Section 24112 of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to accept a U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant award and approve the related subrecipient agreements and actions as follows:
1. Accept the SS4A grant award in the amount of [$1,906,695], with a [$476,674] non-federal match provided by the University of Nevada, Reno, for a total project cost of [$2,383,369] and a grant period of October 13, 2026, through July 31, 2031;
2. Approve a subrecipient agreement with the University of Nevada, Reno in an amount not to exceed [$1,372,820.33] for the period October 13, 2026, through July 31, 2031;
3. Approve a subrecipient agreement with the Washoe County School District in an amount not to exceed [$228,803.40] for the period October 13, 2026, through July 31, 2031;
4. Authorize the County Manager or her designee to execute the federal award and both subrecipient agreements;
5. Authorize the County Manager or her designee to execute amendments that do not increase the total award amount or require additional County funding; and
6. Approve the resolution necessary for the same and direct Finance to make the necessary budget amendments.
