Title: Recommendation to accept the FY 2025 Office of Traffic Safety grant award from the State of Nevada Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety [amount not to exceed $63,000.00, 25% or $15,750.00 In-Kind county match required] as administered through the State of Nevada Department of Public Safety Office of Traffic Safety, to support the lease of three (3) Preliminary Breath Test (PBT) kiosks, for the retroactive grant term of the effective date of authorization through September 30, 2025; approve the Interlocal Contract between Washoe County on behalf of Washoe County Department of Alternative Sentencing and Douglas County on behalf of Douglas County Department of Alternative Sentencing; and if approved, direct Comptroller’s Office to make the necessary budget amendments and authorize Chief Roper to execute grant award documents.
