Recommendation to accept a fiscal year 2025 Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) grant award [amount not to exceed $154,000.00, no County match required] as administered from the State of Nevada Office of Emergency Management/Homeland Security, Federal FY25 project number EMW-2025-SS-05056, to acquire digital x-ray equipment to enhance the Consolidated Bomb Squad’s ability to detect, assess, and neutralize explosive threats for the retroactive grant period of September 1, 2025 through August 31, 2027; authorize the Sheriff to retroactively execute the award document; and direct Finance to make the necessary budget amendments.
