Title:

Discussion and possible approval of an interlocal agreement between (1) Washoe County on behalf of the District Attorney's Office and (2) the State of Nevada on behalf of its Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Welfare and Supportive Services. The agreement is for the District Attorney's Office to administer a program for the establishment and enforcement of child support and paternity orders and related matters pursuant to NRS 425.375 and related provisions. The agreement would be effective July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2029, and the program costs are expected to amount to approximately $20,779,502.00 (FY 26 $5,042,042, FY 27 $5,142,587, FY 28 $5,245,133, FY 29 $5,349,730). The contract also provides for 2/3 reimbursement of that $20,779,502.00 by the state to the county pursuant to federal laws and regulations including Medicare Part IV-D.
