For hearing, discussion, and possible action to:
(1) Adopt an amendment to the Washoe County Master Plan, Forest Master Plan Land Use Map, to change the master plan land use designation for 1 parcel (APN: 150-080-08) totaling ±40.01 acres from 36.81 acres of Rural Residential (RR) and 3.21 acres of Open Space (OS) to 29.6 acres of Suburban Residential (SR) and 10.4 acres of Open Space (OS); and if approved, authorize the chair to sign a resolution to this effect. Any adoption by the Planning Commission is subject to approval by the Washoe County Board of County Commissioners and a finding of conformance with the Truckee Meadows Regional Plan by the regional planning authorities. and;
(2) Subject to final approval of the associated master plan amendment and a finding of conformance with the Truckee Meadows Regional Plan, recommend adoption of an amendment to the Forest Regulatory Zone Map, to change the regulatory zoning for 1 parcel (APNs: 150-080-08) from 36.81 acres of Medium Density Rural (MDR - 1 single family dwelling unit per 5 acres) and 3.21 acres of Open Space (OS) to 29.61 acres of Low Density Suburban (LDS -1 single family dwelling units per 1 acre) and 10.4 acres of Open Space and; if approved, authorize the chair to sign a resolution to this effect.
This application is submitted by Mezger Trust. The subject property is located 0.25 miles southeast of the intersection at Mount Rose Highway and Fawn Lane.
