Recommendation to accept a fiscal year 2027 Office of Traffic Safety grant award [amount not to exceed $7,500.00, $1,875.00 County match required] as administered from the State of Nevada Department of Public Safety Office of Traffic Safety, project number TS-2027-WCSO-1049, for overtime personnel costs associated with instructing the Drive Responsibly Includes Vehicle Education (DRIVE Program) for the grant period of Effective Date of Authorization through September 30, 2027; authorize the Sheriff to retroactively execute the award document; and direct Finance to make the necessary budget amendments.
