Recommendation to accept additional fiscal year 2026 U.S. Forest Service grant award funding [increased amount not to exceed $3,000.00, for a total of $13,000.00, no County match required] as administered from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Forest Service Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, federal project number 26-LE-11041700-017, for patrol of U.S. Forest Service designated roads, campgrounds, developed sites, or dispersed areas for the retroactive grant period of February 13, 2026 through January 31, 2031; authorize the Sheriff to retroactively execute the award document; and direct Finance to make the necessary budget amendments.
