Recommendation to accept a fiscal year 2027 Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) grant award [amount not to exceed $25,641.00, $6,414.00 County match required] as administered from the State of Nevada Department of Human Services Division of Child and Family Services, federal project numbers 15POVC-23-GG-00456-ASSI and 15POVC-24-GG-00705-ASSI, to sustain and enhance the victim advocacy program for the retroactive grant period of July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027; authorize the Sheriff to retroactively execute the award document; and direct Finance to make the necessary budget amendments.
