Recommendation to approve, pursuant to NRS 244.1505, Commission District Special Fund disbursement in the amount of [$9,800.00] for Fiscal Year 2024-2025; District 3 Commissioner Mariluz Garcia recommends a [$7,500.00] grant to Domestic Violence Resource Center (DVRC) - a nonprofit organization created for charitable, religious, or educational purposes - to support the mission of rebuilding safe and hopeful lives for victims of family violence; and a [$2,300.00] grant to Truckee Meadows Bicycle Alliance (TMBA) - a nonprofit organization created for charitable, religious, or educational purposes - for the purposes of covering costs associated with the t-shirt design contest where the winning student has their design printed on the t-shirts for the 3rd annual event; approve Resolutions necessary for same; and direct the Finance Office to make the necessary disbursements of funds.
