Recommendation to accept the FY 2025 Office of Traffic Safety award from the State of Nevada Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety [amount not to exceed $5,000.00, 25% In-Kind county match required] as administered through the State of Nevada Department of Public Safety Office of Traffic Safety, to cover overtime costs related to conducting speed enforcement, for the grant term which will begin upon receipt of the Authorization to Proceed notification through September 30, 2025 and if approved, direct Comptroller’s Office to make the necessary budget amendments and authorize Sheriff Balaam to execute grant award documents.
