Title: Recommendation to: retroactively 1) approve the First Amendment to Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 3223-24 for inmate medical services at the Washoe County Detention Facility and Jan Evans Juvenile Justice Center with NaphCare, Inc., in the amount of $16,075,347.10 for Renewal Year 1 (July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027) and $16,557,607.51 for Renewal Year 2 (July 1, 2027 - June 30, 2028). 2) approve the use of General Fund Contingency in an amount up to but not to exceed [$150,000] within the Washoe County Juvenile Services departmental budget, for unbudgeted detention medical services expenditures for Fiscal Year 2027, in accordance with Nevada Revised Statute (NRS) 354.598005; and, if approved, retroactively authorize the Division Director of Purchasing to execute said agreement effective July 1, 2026, and direct FinanceĀ  to make the necessary cross-functional budget appropriation transfers [FY27 net fiscal impact $-0-].
