This Trust was established to provide a funding source for current and future retiree health costs; monies transferred from this trust will be placed into the District’s general fund. TMP-3866 2  Action ItemE. Recommendation to approve a resolution adopting the Washoe County Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) requires that each jurisdiction adopt a Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan on a 5-year cycle. An updated plan was produced with experts from the various public safety disciplines throughout the County as well as private businesses and citizens. Participating partner agencies include the following: City of Sparks, City of Reno, Reno-Sparks Indian Colony, Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe, Truckee River Flood Management Project, North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District, and TMFPD.
